My Bike - Silver 350CC Bullet Electra – DISCO

As far as I remember, all I wanted to get when I started earning was a Bullet, and no other motorcycle. So in 2004 after enough of savings I invested in a nice silver Royal Enfield Bullet Electra, and christened her DISCO. Why DISCO?? Well, the word "Disco" is associated with something retro and happening... and that's what my bike is! I was honored to be a part of Inddiethumpers that very month I got my bike. Since then it has been a very amazing journey with the club. I have met some of the most crazy and reliable friends I have ever made; actually rather than friends I can call them "brothers" and this is one huge family.
I can’t do many rides with the club as there is always scarcity of time because of work; still I try to pull 2-3 rides a year. I am currently doing my PhD in cancer biology, hope to finish soon, and then hit the road for some time. I have grand plans for times to come, the first and foremost being a ride to Ladhak – the Mecca of riders in India.
One thing is for sure, I wont ever part with DISCO. I might add something else to the stable, but she won’t ever go. Anyone who wants to accept me, has to do so with my bike and my rides and my club, otherwise... 'bye bye'. For me, my bike has given me freedom, and Inddiethumpers an opportunity to explore India with my brothers. Let's see where does time and my bike take me, a lot more places to see, a lot more kms. to conquer... before I lay myself down.
