My Bikes -Triumph Rocket III, Bullet 500, Machismo 350 and Yamaha RD 350

Hello and welcome to my profile page. Let me start off by saying first that it has been a grand ride all these years with the thumpers and i will always cherish the memories and friendships made along the years. I'm a software engineer by profession though i started off as a Mechanical Engineer. I learnt riding on my uncles old Deluxe Blue bullet when I was a kid and was totally hooked on to bullets since then. I used to ride a Vespa scooter in school and through college as my folks would not buy me a bike :) Quite a few years down the line I bought my first bullet after getting a decent job and finally I had a brand new Black Machismo 350cc. The bike that I christened Juggernaut proved true to its name and gave me countless great memories to cherish .This was the bike that i had when i met Rasik and Ravi and we decided to form the club to meet fellow bullet enthusiasts in Bombay.

My second bike was a Silver Chrome 500cc that I bought from Bangalore. I then restored it to the dream bullet I had in my mind. Blitzkrieg was what I called it it gave me the Adrenalin Rush that the 350 kind of missed out on. Along the way i met Shweta and we got married eventually. She used to ride my 350 after i got the 500. We also bought a Yamaha RD350 HT version and called it Diablo.

I had to come to US on a work assignment in Oct 2003. After a year here we bought a Triumph Thunderbird, a 3 cylinder liquid cooled 900cc triple. Riding in the US is different ballgame than India and I had to get adjusted accordingly.

On march 30th 2005 i was able to fullfill a big dream of mine and we bought a new Triumph Rocket III. We have had this bike ever since and toured quite a bit initially through out the US. This was before we had the kids. After the kids biking has taken a backseat though i hope we can get back to it once they grow up a bit. We have a son called Simar and a daughter Iresha. We also made some fantastic friends here in the Triumph riding circles and biking brotherhood is esentially the same across everywhere. We miss out on all the good times that are being had by the thumpers back home, but hope to join and meet up with our friends whenever we get to visit India. Ride safe. Daman
